Tech term: acceleration-change in speed or direction Anticipatory set: Ask the kids the questions on the power point Step by step direction/instructions: Introduce acceleration, tell how to calculate, acceleration, show the slide show on the board, give examples of acceleration, let the students ask questions, ask the students to write down 2 things that they learned. Guided practice: a review that shows every thing they learned. Closure: Ask the kids what they learned today. Assessment: Give the kids the same quiz as the beginning with the word bank.
Connections: Ask the kids if they have anything to say or add about acceleration, or any connections they have to it.
